Hi,

I have a Customer using Outlook 2002, accessing her Exchange 5.
mailbox.
Default delivery location is set to Server based Mailbox.
She also has just 1 Calendar and does use PST's.

When she creates a meeting and sends it to me as a test, I accept an
send the response. If I then check her calendar and open up the item
notice my name in the To: section multiple times.

This is also the case with every meeting she sends out.

I cannot duplicate this problem. I tested and sent ok and the invitee
were not duplicating.

On the customers machine I tried various command line switches,
created a new profile, I renamed the .dat files so Outlook can creat
new and fresh. I used the MDBvu32 tool to clear out old rules remainin
in error.

Still same problem...

Any ideas..

Thankyou in Advance

Small update to this.
Did some more tests from another EX55 server and same issue, and hav
duplicated the issue.

Also when I go back to the original meeting and check tracking I notic
that the 1 person invited appears as ' Required ' and
' Optional ', which is the duplicate.

So why, when the person accepts once do they appear in the originator
calendar as Required and Optional..??

thanks in Advance

If anyone would like to interupt my thread here, to at least let me kno
it has been looked at, please feel free..

:)

More testing on this has uncovered that when I use the same version o
Outlook to send and also receive the meeting request the invitee is no
duplicated.

Just in once as either Required or Optional and not both.

??

Anyone aware of this..?
Is it common.?
Can it be fixed.?
Must all be using the same version.?

Thanks again in Advance
