Is there any way in Excel to analyze the same column in different
spreadsheets and highlight duplicate entries?

Thanks.

Do you want to compare columns in two different files (workbooks), or on
two sheets in the same workbook?

Chip Pearson has information on finding and highlighting duplicates:

You can use this Conditional Formatting technique if both sheets are in
the same workbook, and you name the range on the second sheet. There are
instruction here for naming a range:

Otherwise, you could use a formula in an adjacent column, to tag the
duplicate entries.
