I have numerious duplicate entries.

For example:
my "Monitor" is a Dell E196FP.....it is listed 3 times.
my "Display adapter" (Intel Chipset).....is listed twice
my "Human Interfaces Devices"......are listed more than once

Question: ¿Are the duplicates safe to delete?

Boot the computer into Safe Mode and delete *all* instances of the
duplicated item. There is no way to tell which entry is the one that
is working.

Then shut down and restart the computer. The computer will redetect
the deleted devices and should install a single instance of each,
except possibly for the USB controllers as most computers have more
than one USB controller on the motherboard.

Check each one's Properties; choose one that says there are no problems and
that it's working OK to keep, and delete the others.

All it means as a rule is, there were multiple installs performed and each
one got listed.
