The problem I am having is we just moved computers on
this one user, he stores his pst file locally and nothing
is through the network. We exported his pst on the old
machine, and imported to the new one, with the same
version of Outlook 2002 on it. Now when we check mail
(we keep the mail on teh mail server in addition to
downloading), it wants to download all the emails on the
server over again, even though they are already in the
inbox (they weren't even in the deleted email folder).
They are all sitting in their respective folder, as per
account.
I was looking through the knowledge base and it seems
this is the closest to my problem although I don't use
Exchange here, 290043. I don't see a resolution or
anything on that article.
Hopefully someone has had this problem and has an idea on
what we can do. We have over 1000 emails in one account
and 4 other accounts with the same approx. number of
emails in there so just downloading them all and deleting
them is not an option.
