My outlook keeps downloading the same emails. I hit send
and receive and outlook will download all my emails.
Then when I hit it again, I get a new copy of all the
emails. My wife and I are in different locations so I
don't want to delete the emails from the server. When I
use Outlook Express this does not happen. What can I do
to fix it.

afraid you answered your own question; as long as you leave a copy on the
server, it will download again. Maybe get a second account for your wife
and forward anything she needs to that?

Outlook keeps this information in a hidden (actually what's called an
"associated") message in the Inbox, rather than as a separate file.

So if for instance, I annihilated the origiginal PST file, but kept a new
one, I would have this problem? If so, how do I have to mutilate the
registry to fix it? :)
