Duplicate emails

Hello Everyone

I am new to this. I am a help desk operator for a I.T/networking company and
1 of our clients is having problem with his outlook where he is getting
duplicate emails. Other users within his organization are not having any
problems. So I believe there is something wrong with his outlook and/or pc.

This problem has happened before and our senior engineer did a windows
update which fixed it but it has returned to haunt us, any help on this would
be great. I just dont know where to go from here.

Would he need to reinstall outlook?

First I'd double check their rules. They might have one rule to put
something into one folder and then it keeps processing the email according
to any additional rules. After most rules you want to tell it to stop
processing more rules. That's the USUAL culprit that I see.
