Duplicate e-mails

I seem to be getting duplicate copies of e-mails! When I check my e-
mail account on the web, it only lists one of each e-mail. When I
download my mail into Outlook some, but not all, are duplicated.
There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to what e-mails it happens to
or when. It just does.

Has anyone heard of this before, or what I can do to resolve it?

Well known issue. It is your Anti Virus scanning the emails that is causing this.To
fix the issue you need to do the following. Also read the link below

Uninstall your AV completely and the re-install it without the email integration
(scanning) option. This is the only sure way to disable the scanning of the emails.
Using the Disable will not work on most Anti Virus suites
