Hi,

You can take a look at the Source Code Duplication Detector (SolidSDD): http://www.solidsourceit.com/products/SolidSDD-code-duplication-cloning-analysis.html. Besides detecting code duplicates, it enables you to analyze the code clones and prioritize your re-factoring activities. The tool is free for educational and Open Source projects, ans has a very affordable "supportive" license for independent developers and start-up companies.

Hi

I'm looking for an app that can find duplicate code within a larg
solution. I found something like Simian (see als
http://blogs.conchango.com/howardvanrooijen/archive/2006/02/08/2776.aspx)
but I am looking for (free-ware/open source ) alternatives, as Simia
is not for commercial projects

Some background information: I became a big fan of DRY
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don't_repeat_yourself and in thi
application, unfortunately, I am. ;-)
