Duplicate calendar meetings...WHY???

If I were to schedule a meeting with others and save it in my calendar as a
request, then after about 10min I notice that something was missing or I had
to change something(basically modify the meeting request). Why is it that I
will get the modified meeting request in my calendar along with the original
meeting request, when I was simply modifying the original meeting that I had
set up.
 
Don't know since you provided absolutely nothing on which we can start to
troubleshoot.

1. Version of Outlook
2. Delegates involved.
3. How you are modifying the meeting.
4. Is it your meeting or on you delegates calendar.

Version of Outlook: 2003
How you are modifying the meeting: clicking on the schedule meeting and
modifying the time, then hit save and close.
it would be my meeting, but come to find out the meeting is duplicated in
every delegates calender as well as mine.
 
Sorry I don't save and close, but send update...Sorry about that.

If you modify the meeting (change places or times) and then close the
meeting, are you prompted to save it and THEN send updates?

Yes it does ask me to save, then send update, mind you it will then duplicate
that meeting to both times, the original time and the modified time.
