Duplicate Calendar Entries

When re-installing a replacement PDA, somehow every calendar entry for three years was entered twice. To exacerbate the problem, the next time I installed a new PC, it happened again, except that the daylight savings box was not checked, so now there are three years of 4 entries for each item, two at the original scheduled time and two more one hour later. Is there a way to easily find duplicate entries and delete them as a block, rather than going one day at a time?
 
I have the same issues with Palm PDA's but in my case it
was due to the Sync process, rather than during install.
