Duo desktops

I have Windows XP.
My 'D' drive is not used. How can I open up the 'D' drive with
a desktop?
I have done this before but have forgotten how I did it.

I want to set up another user account on it with it's own
desktop just like the 'c' drive. I don't want to change a thing.

When I turn on the computer a pop-up window should appear
asking me to make my selection, i.e., drive 'c' or drive 'd'.

At present - when I go to 'My Computer' and click on the 'd'
drive icon - just the folder(s) for that drive appears.

User accounts are kept on the system drive (your drive C:). You cannot
create a user account on your D: drive (which sounds like a data
drive). You can, however, put the new user's My Documents (and other
data files) on D: afterwards.
