Dungeon siege wont start, please help

dungeon siege wont start anymore! i know this may be a century old problem, but i cant find a discussion regarding this, whenever i start dungeon siege, it goes in a black screen and dots appear on the lower left side of the screen and my cursor appears in an hourglass, i know that this indicates that the game is loading, but, after ten minutes of waiting, i just's stay's like that.

it started when i shut down the power without shutting down the pc, it didn't went that way when i played it. to anyone who knows how to fix this, i'd be truly grateful and it'll be a great help to those that have the same problem as i have.
 
No idea what dungeon siege is apart from a game?
Have you un-installed & re-installed the game?

hmm, still wont work, done everything.

it was working fine until i switched off the power without properly shutting down the pc, some files might be corrupted even though i installed it again

Well, depending on what OS you is using, I'd seriously look at more than just corrupted game files ... I would assume you got an moaning message off Windows that you were naughty when you next booted?

oh wait, i overlooked one about saved games, i didn't know save files could affect an entire program, didn't erase my save files because they were too valuable haha.

well thanks for the help, im gonna go spread the good word about this, thanks again!
