Number One Pet Peeve: Party NPCs talking right before a group of
monsters! This happens 90% of the time; someone starts a long-winded
dialogue right in front of the monsters! And then that's that, they
never mention it again.

Number Two Pet Peeve: Reduced party size!! Who the hell wants to play
such a predictable and linear game again to unlock Veteran and Elite
levels?

Number Three Pet Peeve: route-finding AI weak! I never noticed this in
the original, but this sequel had me running around with a fourth party
member a few times now, said member having been literally stuck behind
a rock miles back!

After I quit the original Dungeon Siege about halfway through due to
boredom I never even had the incination to pick up the sequel.

1. Yup, terribly annoying.

2. Easily fixed with mods.

You have to register to download for now though. :/ I have a similar
mod for Broken World that I made the other week if you want it. Veteran
and Elite add more content and skills. Having 6 members didn't add any
real gameplay value for me though but try it out and see if you like it
better.

3. Yea, this happens once in a while if the wrong party commands are
used. Mostly Guard and Rampage I think. Not a real problem though since
it doesn't happen very often. I just tell the party to stand close to
each other to minimize the risk, not sure if it helps though. I think
it might be a problem with the new nodes btw, their paths are a bit
messed up at places.

Hehehe...wait 'til the movie comes out! No, I'm serious: "In the Name
of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale." So that means there'll be a DS
III!!!

It's amazing they actually designed things that way! Holy smokes,
after all the play-testing, no one caught that???

I do have them on "Mirror"...that's what really sucks!

A DS 3 would actually be cool since they will have a lot more resources
after they have finished Supreme Commander. And they can choose from a
lot more publishers.

I can promise that nothing besides a cookie to handle logins is placed
on your harddrive. ;)
The site is being revamped though and the next version likely wont
require people to login.
It just works like that right now to build up a mebersdatabase and in
some ways save bandwidth.

I haven't put up the one for BW if you would need that one later on,
that's what I ment.

Best of luck.

Oh yeah, and another thing: I'm sick of limited camera angles! I want
to see the sky, damn it!

Also, I'm sick of limited visibility! Perpetual smog really detracts
from the graphics! I suppose all this is on account of computing
power, but there should be an option, like with shadows, to increase
detail!

The URL has changed to http://www.siegetheday.org/?q=node/517 incase
anyone tries to reach the mod. We have switched host and platform so
there are not many mods right now but we upload every now and then when
we find time. Registration is no longer needed to download btw.
