Dun problems

I see a lot of pc's with this same problem.
On boot up the dial up network connection box pops up
requesting to connect also if you double click on the HDD
the same box pops up demanding to connect.
All dialup settings are fine.

Any ideas on how to get rid of this on other versions of
windows as well as XP

The PC has a program which is accessing a TCP/IP connection. Since the PC
is most likely a single PC, the DUN is called and it tries to connect to the
Internet.

In the DUN entry properties, try "Do not dial a connection" (or "Do not use
the connection"???)
