Internet Explorer and change it on the tab there but the next time i
boot up it is back to the wrong. how do i fix this?

Hi Ron,

This question is asked here fairly frequently.

Are you SURE it's being set to the wrong password?
For security, Windows XP will mask your password, whatever length it is,
with a fixed number (16) of blobs/asterisks.. this is an additional security
precaution, to prevent someone from seeing the true length of your password
and guessing it.
Have you tried connecting anyway with the "wrong" password - if the problem
is what I'm describing, you should find it connects without a problem.
Does this help?

It doesn`t need fixing, the password is CORRECT, the password is
hidden by lots of astericks to stop people guessing it!
