DUN Crash when accessing Interet

Hi

I am trying to fix a Win 98 SE machine, whiich when you try to connect to
the internet via dial-up it freezes when you hit connect. The mouse moves
really slowly and task manager comes up but you can't kill the task. It was
recently has lots of malware on in (smithfraud-c tns-search and others) which
I think I have removed. Is there anything else I need to do?
