Dumped Turtle-bought Audigy 2!

I dumped the ancient Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card and bought the
Creative Audigy 2 value. Vista along with the supplied drivers on cd were
installed and it sure is nice to hear sounds and music again!
IT WORKS! <s>

What drivers did you use to install the card? as I have a Audigy 2 value
card and can't get it to work... Using the 64 bit vista
 
It's the drivers right of the CD supplied by the manufacturer. Device
Manager states them as version 5.12.4.522 and the date is 7/1/2004. Creative
SB Audigy 2 (WDM).
I don't know why a driver that old is working, but it is!
On first boot after installing new card, Vista stated it found new hardware,
paused for a bit and then asked me to insert the disk provided by the
manufacturer which I did and viola! I totally expected it not to work given
all the reports here but it does.
