dump of physical memory

I recently installed DSL with Windows 2000. Ever since
then, when I am on the internet, at no specific time
(could be 2 minutes, could be 1 1/2 hrs.), my computer
will shut down. A blue screen will pop up that
states "driver_irql_not_less_or_equal" then some numbers
and then "beginning dump of physical memory." Has anyone
heard of this problem, is there an easy way to solve it,
and how can I fix it? Thanks for any help you can give to
a not-so-technologically-sound computer user.

My drivers are Efficient Networks Enternet P.P.P.o.E.
Adapter and Realtek RTL8139(A) PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter.

This is very common symptom. In your case probably caused by this "P.P.P.o.E Adapter".
For help, ask your Internet provider, or where you got this adapter.
