dummy administrator password?

windows update popped up with updates to install so i
installed and restarted comp. welcome screen appeared but
now the user accounts are gone, did ctrl alt del prompted
for a password yet i had not password protected any of the
accounts just in case any one forgot them, anyone know if
there is a dummy logon to enable me to add myself again? i
am so hating xp and i've had it for a while! tia

Do Ctl-Alt-Del again but leave the password field blank.
