Dual video MoBos and cards

Been looking at µATX and graphics cards recently and yesterday found
something that made me wonder about boards with D-SUB and DVI outputs.

I'd always assumed that it was possible to run 2 monitors from such boards,
then found a board where a spec. mentioned nVidia's nView allowing the use
of 2 monitors.

The other boards don't mention this and I could find nothing of use via
Google.

Does anyone know, please, if these 'double'-output boards can run 2
monitors? If not, I'll have to start again :-(

That's equivalent to VGA? Why not just say VGA?

Sets up just fine from within Windows XP display settings.

Assuming you're talking about common, modern ATI or NVIDIA video
cards. If they have either one VGA plus one DVI output, or two DVI
outputs, given at least one DVI-VGA adapter, you can run two
monitors set up from Windows XP display properties.

Would be a lot easier if you would just specify a video card.

If not, I'll have to start again :-(

There I'm talking about using two VGA monitors. Depending on your
monitor combination types, you can also plug them directly into the
outputs on the video card.
