Well, can somebody help me? I have MCE2005 and this Emuzed TVT3 Dual TV
Tuner. It came w/ my Dell Dimension 8400 MCEPC. I am trying to capture my
sattelite TV signal using Windows Movie Maker. I know I can do it w/ media
center but I want to get this to work. I am feeding the signal through a
regular tv cable as well. after the error message, it displays Angel MPEG
Device (which is my card) as a device that I can use. I try it but nothing
shows up in the preview. I then tried w/ A/V cables but it still did not
work. I tried switching tuners but that didn't work either. I also used a
program to capture video but it had errors, probably since the device is
probably in use. Can somebody help me here? It would be helpful because
then I could use my Xbox and capture its video using Windows Movie Maker

OK, I have the same setup. I open moviemaker, click capture from video
device, in the next window I see two tuners. Set audio to Angel Audio and
video input to composite (mine is an S-video connection but it will get a
signal from either because the cable goes to the first tuner as well as the
first s-video), assuming your satellite tuner is on and on a channel, you
should see the meter moving now. If not, click configure, then TV tuner.
Make sure the channel is correct (3 or 4 for my satellite box, mine is on
4), input 1, cable...apply, ok, close. Now you should see the meter moving
to the sound. Next, next, next and you should see the preview. I get the
same error you get but I think it is because I do not have two TV boxes
hooked up to the dual tuner. I ignore it. If I run media center, live TV,
then try to capture with movie maker, I loose the signal to both. Hope this
helps, I wasn't sure what settings you might have tried.

Alfred - You are my freaking hero!!! I've been through all sorts of postings
at all sorts of sites (not to mention the trial and error, customer support,
etc.) I changed the settings and it worked. (Similar setup...Dimension 9100
MCE 2005.) There's also some MCE conflicts that had to be resolved (deleting
eh*.exe in \Task Manager\Process)
