Just wondering if anyone knows if there is such a thing as a Dual Chip
Motherboard for an AMD 1.6 Chip, (Socket A) ? and if so, can someone please
give me some names or brands?

Thanks For your Help

Yes you can get dual socket A motherboards, but I'm not sure you actually
want one...

Ordinary AMD Athlon chips are not multi-processor compatible. Not only do
you need a dual socket motherboard, but you need special processors too -
the AMD Athlon-MP (rather than XP). If your 1.6 Athlon is getting a bit
slow, you can't just get a dual motherboard and add another 1.6 processor!

So rather than suppliing you with a list of motherboards with dual slot
socket A setups, I thought I would prevent you making a mistake and buying
one without checking that you have the right processor in the first place!
