hello everyone. hope you can help me with this.
I am working in a hospital with a simple server in which all database and transactions in different departments are run and connected to it. now, i wan't to know if we can have a dual server both simultaneously running in which, if the other server needs maintenance or need to troubleshoot or restarts, the system won't die and keeps running using the other remaining server.
i still don't know what to do in here. it's running ah winserver 2003. but will be upgraded to server 2008 standard or 2012 standard.
was it possible to run both at the same time having 1 database running in both server? it really is a pain if we had to restart the server. we thought that if it has two servers, one can still perform while the other's restarting.
