I've finally got around to installing a second monitor in my Cubase
box, running a Radeon VE/7000 card with the supplied ATI two-screen
software, "Hydravision" I believe it's called.
I'm having a few minor problems:
When I try to edit, the toolbar pops up in the other screen, which
is not very convenient. Other stuff also pops up on the opposite
screen from where it logically ought to be. Is there any way of
managing this?
A second, less serious problem is that I am having a hard time
getting the two screens to resemble each other in terms of color,
contrast and brightness. Adjusting this is a lot harder than it
sounds, as one adjustment will change everything else. Is there a
program that will help calibrate two monitors to each other?
Thanks for any help!
