hi all,

trying to run a 2 slide show presentation on dual screens.
my problems is
when i launch the the first presentation it works fine the slides loop perfectly
when i launch the second slide show the first presentation will halt displaying the last before the second slide show was
initiated.
anyone experienced this before?

thanks in advance
version office 2000

PowerPoint allows only one slide show to remain active at any time. Look at
PowerShow add-in at http://officeone.mvps.org/powershow/powershow.html - it
enables you to display multiple slide shows simultaneously.

no one knows of a workaround then ?

Once more for emphasis:

"it enables you to display multiple slide shows simultaneously."

That looks suspiciously like a workaround to me.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

PowerPoint does not have the built-in capability to show and control
multiple slide shows simultaneously..

If you (or anyone else reading this message) feel strongly that PowerPoint
should include some additional features around multiple monitors and
multiple slide shows (without requiring an add-in or additional software),
don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft
