I just installed XP on my computer and now I have a dual
sys. I can't uninstall windows 98 either due to FAT32. My
problem lies with the CD and dvd drives. All drivers are
current but it say that some are missing or damaged in the
registry. So with out them I can't re-install the drivers.
Somebody please help me.

Thanks,
Henry

Did you install WinXP on a separate Partition? Hopefully Yes. Also,
formatted in NTFS. Do you only get the error message in WinXP and not in
Win98? Physically remove or disconnect the Cables from the Motherboard to
your Cd and
Dvd drives. Start the computer let it boot into WinXP and then, Shutdown.
Reinstall the cables and restart. See what happens. WinXP may have the
correct drivers and install them. Before you do this rt click MyComputer
select Properties>
Hardware>Device Manager. Go to Dvd/Cdrom drives click the + sign rt click
on each drive and select Uninstall.
