Dual operating system ??

Hi,

Start/run msconfig, go to the boot.ini tab, click on "check all boot paths",
it should prompt to remove the invalid entry.

How do I stop my PC asking which operating system to
start, when I only have one OS installed. XP. N.B. the
second option it gives is also XP, but one that was
previously installed incorrectly and later deleted from a
different drive. Many thanks.

Edit your BOOT.INI file to removed the invalid entry.
