Dual NICs and the internet

I have a system that has two NICs installed. One is to
the corporate network. The other ist connected to our
phone switch for administration and reporting purposes.
Ever since I installed the second card to connect to the
phone system, I have to disable it if I want to get to
the Internet. I have only configured an IP address for
the second card. There are no DNS or Gateway settings,
because there is no way to get to the Internet from that
network.

Is there some way to have both NICs enabled at the swame
time? If I can resolve this, then I will roll out this
configuration to my management teams.

If you don't need IP for the second card, just uncheck in that card's
general properties. That should help.

The second network card requires an IP address in order
to connect to the phone switch, which is using VoIP and
is on a different subnet.
