dual monitors

I have checked several newsgroups, the ATI website, and
the Microsoft help site. I have an ATI FireGL2 video card
with one digital and one analog plugs. I have two
monitors plugged in and they both are getting signal, but
the problem is that it is the same signal. I have gotten
this setup to work in XP pro and home, but cannot get it
going in 2000 Pro. Any suggestions? Driver 6.12.10.2090

Mike, I don't think I can help you out with your ATI but I
had a similar situation with my Matrox dual hd video card.
The latest driver from Matrox worked out fine and Windows
2000 Prof detected a new driver was available so I
accepted it from MS But, it spread my screen out over two
monitors and there was no configuring available. Needless
to say, I went back and installed Matrox's driver back in
and it works fine, AGAIN! HH
