Try using a dual-display card like the Matrox one.

I hope this helps.

i would but its for a school with a very limited budget and a large amount
of s3 64+ cards

Win2K does quite well with two or more PCI video cards (or even 1 AGP and a
single PCI...or even a PCMCIA video card)... One of the things I've found
is that few motherboards with onboard video work well in a dual-video
configuration, where two cards are involved (one more than the onboard, or
even two more, with the onboard disabled). The only motherboards I know
that worked 100% of the time were Intel (but this was back with the 840
chipset...not sure about current P4 systems).

Windows 2000 doesnt work with dual monitors when the secondary card is an s3
chipset.

Dual monitor also does not work very well when both cards are the same
chipset. Try two different cards, you should have better luck.
