Dual monitor, single display?

Does anyone know how to configure a system that has two video cards so that
the output is THE SAME to both monitors? I can get the thing working with
the "extended desktop", but I want to have the displays the same. (The idea
is to use it for a monitor and a projector - the way you can with a laptop,
using its own screen and a projector on the other VGA output - except that
this is a PC.)

I can provide full specs, but suspect this is more Windowsy than hardware...

Thanks!

I'm afraid I can't see the section you refer to. Would you mind copy/pasting
the relevant text for me please? Sorry to be a pain; I've tried looking at
the online help but can't see how to configure dual monitors for other than
extended desktop.

Thanks.

I may be wrong here, but I think Windows 2000 only supports "extending" the
desktop. To get the type of support you're looking for, you usually have to
use third-party software (ATI and NVidia include this with their video
cards.)

I don't know why I didn't mention them, I have a G550 on my main desktop :)

You want to clone the outputs, easy with a Matrox card but not sure about
others.

What OS and What Graphics Card do you have ?

A good site for all Multi monitor questions is

Hope this helps
