Dual Monitor -- editing while running

Hi,
I have just set up my church projection computer with a second monitor
(WinXP, Powerpoint 2003) and so far, things are looking great. But, I'm
sure there is a way to edit a presentation that is currently running; I've
just not figured out how to do it. The presentation is running on Monitor 1
while the "Presenters Mode" is shown on Monitor 2. Any insights here on how
I can edit a slide that is not currently being shown on Monitor 1 (and the
projectors)?

As far as I know, the only way to do this is to freeze the data projector(s).
This should be possible from the remote control. You should also look at the
site http://www.usingpowerpointinchurch.com/ or software specially designed
for use in church. There is quite a choice. I use Presentation Manager. See

Oh, by the way, I have downloaded a powerpoint plug-in called
"PowerShow63.exe" that claims to allow you to do exactly what I am looking
to do (edit a powerpoint "on the fly"), but again, I have just not been able
to figure out how to do it. Thanks again for any insights.

I'm not sure why a recent reply of mine to this thread was deleted from the
