Dual displays with X300?

I have an ATI X300 card in my desktop and use a digital monitor connected to
the digital output on the card. I also have a VGA monitor which I do not
use.

If I plug this VGA monitor into the VGA out on the card, will I have dual
monitor displays or does this card not work this way?

If not, do I need a second card to use both monitors or is there a card I
can replace my X300 with that will allow dual displays using both the
digital and the vga outs?

Amazing how much time and effort some people are willing to waste just to avoid looking at the documentation.
