Dual channel memory (cas3.0) VS. fast (cas2.0) memory

Hi,
what is best to have:
1) 2x256Mb cas3.0 with dual channel memory
2) or a fast 512Mb cas2.0

My mobo is an MSI Delta-L with nForce2 Ultra 400.

Well, you are ignoring three out of the four memory timings. However, the
answer to your question is, try number 2 if you ever intend to overclock.
If not, they are equal. -Dave

Also, the OP didn't mention it but if you have on-board graphics that shares
the system RAM then dual-channel is the way to go for graphics performance.
