can I stop it starting up on the next startup as a dual boot?
Thank you

Hi

Go to Start/Run and type in: msconfig
Then go to the Boot.ini Tab and click on Check All Boot Paths.
If you receive a warning about a duplicate path: Do you want to remove, choose yes

O

Right click the My Computer icon/Properties/Advanced/Startup and Recovery/Settings/System Startup/Edit

Don't worry, it won't - WinXP is not aware of that other
installation, and even if it was then it could not start it
because the drive letter is wrong.

Installing a slave HDD that has Windows already installed onto it will not
make your pc 'dual boot'..
