I currently have windows 2000 and would like to install
windows 98 on a seperate hard drive without having to
remove 2000 and then install 98 and then putting windows
2000 back on. I know I can edit the boot.ini but how shall
I go about installing 98? Thanks in advance!!!!!!

If you search the knowledge base for "dual boot" you
should be able to find an article that covers your
question. I don't remember the exact title but that was
how I found it and printed it out.

If I find the reference I will post it.

I've been playing around with a dual-boot system and it's a bit hard to do
right. According to various KB articles, if you are dual-booting W95 or W98,
the appropriate type FAT file system must be the boot drive. You are
supposed to install W95/98 first, then install W2k. So, what you are tyring
to do may have problems. I've been having a lot of trouble with my dual-boot
system because I didn't read ALL the instructions first.
