I have a problem w/ my computer. It is running a dual
boot with windows xp home and Windows 2002. I had
windows xp installled prior to installing windows 2000.
I want to delete the windows 2000. How is this

possible?

This is easy:

1. Boot into Win2000
2. Start a Command Prompt
3. Type this command: echo %SystemRoot%
4. Make a note of the screen output
5. Boot into WinXP
6. Rename the folder that you noted in Step 4.
7. Unhide & edit the hidden file c:\boot.ini
8. Remove the line that includes Windows 2000
9. Make sure that the default line refers to Windows XP

Your machine will now boot into WinXP only. After one
week, if all is well, you can delete the Win2000 folder
that you renamed in Step 6.
