Yesterday I bought my copy of vista home premium full and prepared my
desktop/server for the upcoming surgery.
what I want to do is this: have a dual boot with vista and w2K3 server (that
will do virtual server and WDS).
the OS disk has two partitions ready and I have a backup of the data
residing currently on the XP partition, so I will wipe that one clean.
my guess is that I have to install w2K3 first and then vista afterwards ?
am I correct or not?

just wanted to confirm the dual boot operation is successfull, first w2003
then vista.

You are correct. Always install the older operating system before the newer
one.

My main computer dual boots both, and I am setting up my portable to do the
same.
