dual boot Win2000 and XP Pro

Hello,

I have a dual booted laptop with Windows 2000 and Windows
XP. I am having a problem with Windows 2000 and would
like to access files from the Win2000 partition while
booted in Windows XP. However, from Windows XP, I cannot
view the drive in Windows Explorer, f:, I believe. Also,
while in XP, I cannot change any of the settings on the f:
(Windows 2000) partition in computer management, nor mount
the volume to a empty folder in XP. Any suggestions?

If you could normally access the files from your XP system, try taking
ownership. See Help and Support and search for "take ownership"
