I am planning on dual booting W2K Server and XP Pro. on
my computer. I would like to have one partition for
Server and another partition for XP. I would like to
make another partition for my software. I do not want to
install my software for both operating systems. Is this
possible?

No. You must install your software separately for each OS.
Even so, you risk that the software installations interfere
with each other (e.g. Outlook Express). A far more robust
way would be to install each OS in its own partition and
to hide the other OS's partition from it. This would give
you total separation. To do this, you would need a third-party
boot manager. XOSL is one that can do it easily. It's free.
