Dual Boot Setup - Having Some Problems

Hello,

I just installed the 64 bit version of RC1 on an extra drive (G:).

On my primary drive (C:) I am running XP Pro (32 bit).

Vista goes through the initial setup routine, then when it says "vista must
reboot to continue installation", the system reboots but XP starts up.

I restarted and hit F8 to go to go my boot menu to boot the drive that I
installed Vista on, however it tells me the NTLDR is missing. I tried to
install again and then got a message that there was a boot disk missing.

What do I need to do in order to properly get the windows boot menu so that
I can choose to boot either to XP or Vista?

I did search the posts for an answer to this question, but wasn't able to
really find anything that specifically addressed this kind of situation.

Thanks in advance for your help.

how did you begin the installation of Vista? and is drive G external? or is
it brand new since the original XP install?
