I have 4 partitions, as follows (sata drive)
a) 11GB, b) 11GB, c) 20GB, d) 88GB
I have 'acb' for OS and 'd' for storage. I installed XP64 on 'b', and than
Vista64 on 'c' When i rebooted I was not prompted for what OS i would like
to enter. I check my boot entires and only Vista was in there. So I don't
know why XP has disapeared it is still clearly on the drive. I tried to
remedy with with BCDEDIT, only to get the message "The boot configuration
data store could not be opened. Access is denied." I do have all admin
privs.. its the admin account.
While I would like to know why bcdedit does not work, my major concern is
installing XP than VISTA is supposed to work fine as long as you do it in
that order. Any suggestions on what is going on here??
