Dual Boot options?

If I wanted to do a dual boot with XP pro and Vista and I didn't want to
disturb my XP pro installation how would I go about doing that if I don't
have partition magic and I have just one big C:\ partition with XP pro on
it? Am I outta luck? Do I have to buy PM? I don't really want to have to
do a reformat. Is that the only way though?

Partition Magic would be good, since it does a good job at creating and
resizing partitions. You could use your XP disk though to create a partition
by booting from the CD and use the Text based setup options to create a
logical disk space from C:/

Hmmm if I use the XP disk will it leave my xp installation intact then?
