Just recently I had installed win2k on a slave HD. The
master HD already had 98 loaded onto it. After the
install, I found out that the boot.ini, ntloader and
ntdetect was loaded on the other HD.(the one that the 98
install)
I found this out when I wanted to use the 98 HD in
another computer, but when I took it out, Win2k wouldn't
bootup. I've since then corrected the problem.
BUT, what I'm wondering is >>HOW in the world did that
happen,? so in the future, I can make sure that this
doesnt mistakenly happen again. I've dual-booted systems
before and had never(knowingly anyway) had this happen
before. Could someone please tell me what I did wrong.
