Hi,
I am dual-booting XP and RC1 32 bit versions. I installed Vista from within
XP rather than booting the DVD and put it on to a separate hard drive. All
works fine.
The advice when i got the beta was that this was the way to do it to make
sure you preserved your XP installation.
My system though has a Athlon 64 x 2 processor and ideally I would like to
see how Vista performs when correctly configured to the 64 bit version.
Obviously, my 32 bit XP will not allow me to run the 64 bit installer so
after all that pre-amble my question is this.....
Can I boot from the DVD, install Vista 64 bit to a separate hard drive from
my XP installation and still have access to XP as I understand this was
problematic with the beta.
Thanks
Stewart
