Im running a Dual AMD XP system. The XP chips have been modded to MP Chips.
im running it on an MSI K7D Master L Mother Board with 1Gb ram and the chips
are 2400+ (2Gz) CPUs. is it normal for them to run at about 65-68DegC? Not
sure what that is in farenhight. Anyway, i have 2 fans getting air into the
system and 2 taking it out and then my PSU has 2 fans on it, one taking air
in from inside the case, the other putting air out of the case. Any ideas?
is this ment to be this hot?
Thanks

General advice is keep them under 75c. AMD specs for Athlon up to xp2100+
shows max die temp at 90c so at 65-68 you are well within spec.

Is the system crashing ? If not you do not have a problem.

Hmmmm. no the system isent crashing, but i want to make sure its not
overheating! my temp monitor says the max has been about 76.5C in the last
15min at half load. Thanks for the info about it not over heating! Think i
want to get better coolers though. would be handy!

what fan and heatsink are you using? are you overclocked? I am getting
aroung 29° c to
31° under load it has never been above 45°c I use a volcano 7 an 92mm
intake with 2 80mm out
