Dual ADSL gateways

I need some advice in setting up our SBS 2k box to use not only the original
ADSL gateway, but a second we have just added. What steps should I need to
take in order for this second gateway to function?
We intended it to extend our ability to service VPN clients, but at the
moment they seem unable to connect. I'm looking at a dual WAN router from
Xincom, but is this necessary or can it be set up on the SBS box?
Any advice much appreciated.

You can't. You have to do it with the ADSL Device itself,...you need one
that can take two links plus the LAN (2 broadband-WAN ports total instead of
just one). I understand some of those have their own built in fail-over
ability between the two lines, but I have never personally used one like
that.

Seems to me you would have to set up a 2 routers and configure each within
the network. Then you could setup your DNS on the server to forward
requests to one or both gateways. If you give each a static IP WAN address,
you can port forward for VPN through one router and have outgoing through
the other or probably any combination.

Another option (probably much harder) is to setup 2 NIC's on the server and
run 2 networks. Then configure one for VPN and the other for regular
traffic. This seems more restrictive, but probably much mort secure.

I would be interested to see if you get this working. Would you post if you
get it (or forward me directly)?

Thanks for the advice guys, I've ordered a dual WAN router from Xincom
(XC-DPG402) that should handle it.
