I lose my DSL connection (SBC) when I work on my computer
for longer periods of time (over an hour). When SBC
tested my connectio they said the problem is at my end. I
have replaced the nic, cabling, and DSL modem and the
problem remains. SBC suggested that I have to Reinstall
XP. Is this a reasonable solution, and is there anyting
else I can try before I go through that process?

Thanks.

Hello

Just a quick once SBC test from their location to yours and fine
no problems, and after you have repalced some of your hardware
that's pretty much where is stop, It's possible their could be something

in oyur OS that may cause and then again it may not be but, I know their

is a particular IE update that I know has cause some problem, don't
have it in front of me but will look for it, but I know for sure it;s
nor
and SBC issue, it;s a issue with IE and one of their SP1.

Reason I know my co-worker had same issue but after talking to
SBC and one of their more experienced tech that was it issue
