DSL Password is nor remembered although save option is being checked

This question may have been already answered, but here is
my problem:

I configured my DSL connection in XP Pro. I checked of a
box to remember password, However, every time when I turn
my computer on, dialog box comes up, my user ID id there,
but my password is not there. This is very annoying. I bet
there is a simple solution for this problem.
 
call your dsl providers tech support...they will have
your answer faster than us trying to guess it....
