I recently had to reinstall XP Home after some serious
system problems caused by a Microsoft Upgrade. Since then,
my program bar refuses to list the "new connection wizard"
option on the start menu ("Communications"), and any other
new connection approach takes me to a connection wizard
that always grays out the options for dial-up and DSL/Cable
Modem (first two), so I can no longer connect to the
internet at all. I've cleaned up my hard drive and
repeatedly reinstalled my OS but no luck. Any suggestions?
I run a Dell I8100, no apparent conflicts, no other known
hard drive problems, using IE6 only. Thanks.
